Hello,
I got your name because some time ago you said you could be volunteer
to help in a Linux project. I'm the coordinator of the LDP (formerly
leaded by Guylhem Aznar)

The Linux Documentation Project is one of them...

The LDP (http://tldp.org) is probably the oldest Linux Web
documentation project ever. We are the "HOWTO" provider.

LDP being old, many of the former volunteers went away for personal
reasons, so we need new ones. We have an old layout working well, but
in our times of the web 2.0, we decided to change and also add a new
one, that is a wiki.

We choosed MoinMoin wiki because it's a general purpose very secure
one (python based, not PHP) and it have links to our prefered document
source format (docbook).

So we need a lot of volunteers in a lot of different kind of
abilities: of course writers, but also reviewers with knowledge in any
Linux part to get a look to the LDP HOWTOs and update them. We need
maintainers for the wiki pages, designers for the Web site layout,
script writers and much more.

so, if you are still interested in helping us, the simpler way is to
answer this mail giving me some clues of what kind of work your are
interested to do for us, how many time left you have. We can accept
any kind of commitment, that is long term or short term...

thanks!!

jdd
