In this page, I would like to have a brief summary of the relations between the LDP and the Linux Distributions. Please, as there are hundred of distributions, help me fill this page. There is no special order in this list.

openSUSE

December 2008 openSUSE distribution allow install of the LDP files in the /usr/share/doc/howto/en folder, both in html (multiple pages) and on txt (gzipped) form. Better, on the sold box there is a printed manual and in this printed manual page 191, that is section 12.5.2, is filled with LDP info about HOWTOs, Guides and FAQ.

Debian

Since 1995, Debian has maintained doc-linux packages which contain LDP files. They offer both html and txt versions, and several translations. The english text version installs to /usr/share/doc/HOWTO/en-text. http://packages.debian.org/search?keywords=doc-linux

Red Hat

Mandriva

Fedora
