My name is Jason Evans. I'm originally from Marion, IL, but I've lived in the Raleigh, NC area for the past 14 years.
I have been with Verizon since November 2012. I started as a contractor and was converted in April 2014. I am a Linux and open source enthusiast. I began experimenting with Mandrake Linux 5 back in 2000 and joined the Triangle Linux Users Group a year later. Currently I run Ubuntu LTS on my private server, though I am always experimenting with new flavors of Unix and Linux.
My other hobbies include writing, traveling, photography, and amateur radio.
