The LDP has had the good fortune of having a multitude of excellent contributors over the many years of its existence. For contact purposes, the list below simply states the current/active members.

If you email us directly, please remember that we receive a <>LOT</> of email and it may take some time to get back to you. If you have a question about the LDP or would like to submit ideas or comments about the LDP, we strongly suggest that you subscribe to discuss AT en.tldp.org.

This list is in no special (hierarchical) order no member of the staff have more value as a people than any other one. Of course, the job indicated is only the main one, everybody collaborate in any part of the process.

Coordinator

• think I make now the work previously quoted as "leader" or Chief coordinator. I don't like the "chief" or "leader" because I was not elected nor choosed by any democratic approach like a vote. I do the work because I find it usefull and nobody else wanted to do it :-);

• try to keep the LDP wiki in a usable status, creating new pages when necessary, often to summarise discussions or to frame them;
• try to moderate the discussion list, trying to make discussions end usefully with decisions... not to say I can always reach this goal.

Also I have login rights to "reggae", the new (August 2008) LDP server, "gabber" (the mail server) and the main LDP site at ibiblio. I have some connections with ibiblio admins that allows me, sometime, to fix problems.

Webmaster or may be better named Master Admin of the LDP servers. Installed the LDP wiki on "reggae" initially and manage it along with the mailing lists and CVS accounts. manage also the "gabber" server.

• From a long time Greg fergusson responsible for submit action, and management script for the Web site (can be reached on the staff list). ldp(at)fergusontechgroup.com Issues related to document publishing, authoring, works with the SGML/XML processing tools on host machine. Issues dealing with the search engine, web site, etc.; may also be brought to his attention.

• Stein Gjoen, sgjoen(at)mail.nyx.net, Technical contributor. Don't answer to the e-mails (live but busy :-), but the TARPL Web site is still online. Maintains TARPL site (The unofficial Linux Documentation Project Advanced Research and Prototyping Laboratory). This site includes TLDP HOWTO Generator.
